Hoisting of final joint of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

  The four high-strength Round sling used for the final joint hoisting of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Island Tunnel have a rated load of 900 tons, an effective length of 60 meters, and an approximate diameter of 320 mm. It is the first practical application of high-strength lifting belt with the largest load and maximum length in China. The technical difficulty lies in the length error control of the lifting belt. According to the requirements of the lifting operation, the relative error of the length of the four lifting belts cannot be greater than 100mm. Through precise control of the length of each component of each hoisting belt, the length value is within the allowable error range under the same force. Finally, the relative error of the length of the 60-meter hoisting belt is not more than 20mm, and the hoisting task is successfully completed.
