Shenzhou-7, referred to as "Shenzhou-7", is the seventh spacecraft launched by China's manned space project. It is China's third manned space mission and the second stage of China's "three-step" space development strategy.

Shenzhou-7 was launched on September 25, 2008 and entered the scheduled orbit. On September 27, 2008, Shenzhou-7 carried out the extravehicular activities and completed the first Chinese spacewalk. On September 28, 2008, Shenzhou-7 entered the return procedure and the capsule landed safely in the scheduled area of Inner Mongolia to complete the manned space mission

The Shenzhou-7 manned space flight has realized astronauts' extravehicular activities and small satellites' accompanying flight, successfully completed a number of technical tests, and opened a new chapter for China.
