Stainless 302/304 Nylon Coated Steel Wire Rope 7x19 Strand Core Very Strong
Nylon-coated, stainless steel wire rope with 7x19 standard construction can be used over pulleys, rigging, winches, in exercise equipment, and garage door mechanics, and for yachting ropes and control cables. Stainless steel 304, also called 18-8, is corrosion-resistant, resists scaling, and withstands high temperatures for a wide range of operation. Stainless steel is a versatile material, commonly used in a wide variety of applications, and in saline atmospheres. Nylon coating is very strong, lightweight, and flexible, has excellent abrasion-resistance, and resists crushing and cracking. 7x19 strand core has seven strands of wire rope with nineteen wires in each strand formed helically around a strand core. 7x19 strand core is more flexible and fatigue-resistant than 7x7 class construction.
Most common two constructions for PVC coating are 7x7, 7x19 and upon special request we can supply 1x7, 1x19, 6x19 Class and 6x37 Class. Typical PVC coated diameters are 3/64 thru 5/8. We coat using strictly virgin PVC resin. Our PVC is UV stabilized depending on color and application and we can accommodate phthalate-free requests. The outside diameter is laser micrometer inspected during extrusion. Our extrusion line is equipped with a black ink printer capable of printing onto the PVC coating. Our PVC extrusion tooling is cleaned on a regular basis to improve the coating quality.
