Product Description
Wire rope, also called wire cable, is an assembly of wire strands formed hectically around a center core. The construction includes 7 strands and 7 wires per strand in galvanized steel resulting in a small diameter that is both flexible and offers resistance to corrosion.
Note: cable breaking strength ratings are listed for comparison purposes only. Actual operating loads may vary, but should never exceed the recommended design factor or 6:1 and 3:1 depending on application.
These cables are not designed for overhead lifting or aircraft use.
