Product Description
Steel cord conveyor belts are widely used in high strength, long distance and heavy load transportation of materials. Also used in high strength and short distance transportation at high speed. These belts only need a very short take-up stroke distance. The belt body has a layer of longitudinal arranged steel cords as its skeleton and thus is resistant to flex fatigue. Therefore, drive pulley of smaller diameter can be used to make equipment smaller. The steel cords are coated on their surface and high adhesion to steel rubber. Therefore, the rubber is tightly adhered to the steel cords and is shock resistant, improving the belt life. Steel cords are evenly arranged and have the same tension, making the belt balanced in running and aligned. Since the carcass has not transverse yarns, the belts has excellent properties to copy the idlers angle and loading more material to transport with higher angles.
Steel Cord Conveyor Belts
Compared to textile conveyor belts, these belts have higher tensile strength, lower elongation, and superior impact resistance. Steel cord conveyor belts are designed for heavy-mining purposes and the transportations of bulk material over long distances. They are made up of left and right twisting wire arranged evenly and longitudinally in the belt.
With one of the best production lines in the world, our steel cord belts are known for an excellent wear resistance as well as low elongation. An even better adhesion and prevention of rusting as well as chemical corrosion and therefore longer service life is achieved due to the open structure of steel wires, which allows the rubber to be completely soaked into the gap between the steel wires during vulcanization.
We also offer additional steel cord or textile breakers in different qualities to protect the steel cord conveyor belt even more.

Remarks during Use and Handing
During transportation, handle softly and carefully, avoid bumping and damaging the outer packing materials. Avoid exposure to moisture. Steel cord must be stored in dry and well ventilated indoor environments.
Pay attention to the twisting direction of the steel cord when installing. Be sure the spool is rotating freely as to achieve identical tension.
In case of batch usage, the remaining should be repacked to avoid oxidizing of the surface to guarantee proper adhesion with rubber.
