6X19 (9/9/1) Compacted Galvanized Steel Wire Rope - Sand, coring and swabbing lines

Since the advent of wire ropes, the contact state of strand steel wire has increased with the demand of wire rope production technology and application performance.

The 3 development processes of Point contact, Liner contact and Compacted have been recorded, and Compacted Steel Wire Rope is based on Liner Contact Liner.

Compared with Point contact, Liner contact Steel Wire Rope, a new type of wire rope developed has some special characteristics. 


(1) due to the plastic compression deformation of the stock of Compacted Steel Wire Rope, the surface of the stock is smooth, and the surface area is larger than the point and line contact ratio of the same specification. Therefore, the steel rope made by this kind of strands is applied to the rope wheel, pulley and reel with large contact area, and the unit pressure on the pulley, pulley and drum is small, and the wear resistance is good.

(2) because of the plastic extrusion deformation of the Compacted Steel Wire Rope, the contact of steel wire in the strand is a large plane or arc, the contact between the steel wires is close, the structure is stable, and the resistance to the transverse deformation is good.

(3) due to the plastic extrusion deformation of the Compacted Steel Wire Rope, the steel wire rope structure is dense, and the ratio of the wire rope to the point and line contact with the same diameter and the same strength grade is larger, the filling density coefficient is high, the bearing capacity is large and the structure is small.

(4) the steel wire has small clearance and good sealing performance, and the corrosion medium is not easy to infiltrate, and the corrosion resistance is strong.

(5) because the surface of Compacted Steel Wire Rope is smooth, the structure is dense, the contact stress between steel wire is small, the resistance to transverse deformation is good, the bearing capacity is great, and the corrosion resistance is large. Therefore, the steel wire rope has good fatigue resistance and high service life.

6X19 Seale Compacted is a wire rope construction with superb breaking load characteristics and is used in a wide range of applications, available with both FC (fibre core) and IWRC (independent wire rope core). The construction has proved particularly popular for applications where the additional resistance to wear and abrasion provided by the larger outer wires is superior to the other 6X19 constructions
